Rev. Dr. Ginger Brittain Jarman and Rev. Dr. David Jarman became our Co-Senior Ministers on February 1, 2003. As Co-Pastors, they alternate preaching and providing worship leadership, and co-officiate at weddings and funerals. They have previously served co-pastorates in California and Texas. They are graduates of Texas Christian University’s Brite Divinity School, Fort Worth, Texas. Both are ordained ministers and lifelong members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). They were active in their home churches, nurtured in Disciples summer camp and conference experiences, and committed their lives to full-time Christian service. Ginger and David met in seminary, where they completed Master of Divinity as well as Doctor of Ministry degrees, and did post-doctoral work in Clinical Pastoral Education in general hospital settings in Texas and Virginia. The Jarmans have  two daughters and two grandchildren.

Ginger was born and raised in Texas. Ginger comes to Las Vegas with a rich background of training and experience in counseling and pastoral counseling for children, youth and adults. Her Doctoral emphasis was in Pastoral Care and Counseling, Christian Education, and New Testament. She is a specialist in providing creative and quality Christian Education experiences for children, youth, and adults. Ginger has a passion for mission and outreach, bringing together resources of church and community. When not doing ministry, Ginger enjoys playing tennis.

David comes to Las Vegas with strong skills in administration, hospital/crisis ministry, a love for music, a rich background for choral and theatre work, and a love for people. His Doctoral concentrations were in Pastoral Care and Counseling, Old Testament, and Church History. David enjoys preaching and teaching, but most of all, he likes to be with people--whether in times of joy or in the difficult moments of our life journeys. When not doing ministry, David enjoys cooking, gardening, and landscaping.
